Overall Experience Reviews For Sport Clips Haircuts of Cary

1 rating

Not pleased with my haircut nor the service given. Had to wait longer than expected even with an appointment. The stylist (Sandy) was nice enough however the quality of the cut is not very good, she went too high on the sides with the clippers. I had the MVP and I could hardly tell if she was touching my hair with her hands it was so light ( this was no scalp massage). I had to remind her half way through to turn on the massage chair and she did not give me a neck or shoulder massage (I didn't think I should have to remind her of something else). Overall experience was very poor considering the cost plus tip.

Perturbed customer - to say the least… The app is supposed to create a simplified process of managing peoples’ waiting for appointments. Unfortunately, all it does is create confusion and disappointment, as well as unhappy customers and frustrated employees - by providing inaccurate information to the user. As a prime example, I went on the app to make an appointment at 10:20am. At that time, my appointment was estimated for 12:06 and it showed a 106 min wait. That makes sense and provides a benefit of me not going to the store just to find there is a 100 minute wait. Obviously, this is just an estimate - a lot could change over the course of 100 minutes... so I continually keep an eye on the app and notice that the wait time has decreased a little such that I should be there by 12:00. Even though it only takes me 7 minutes to get to the location, I left my house at 11:35. Coincidentally, just as I was leaving, I got a text message saying that my stylist will be ready in 15 minutes. Not sure how 10 minutes just disappeared, but I'm still good, so I thought. After reading the text, I looked at the app and it now says I need to be there in 2 minutes - again, 8 minutes just vanished into thin air. I immediately call the location to let them know I am about 3 minutes away. When I get there, my stylist has just sat down a different customer who was a walk-in - and my wait will be another 25 minutes. How does this make any sense at all? Not sure that the app can be fully blamed. After all, it was the stylist, Crystal, that made the decision to ignore the fact that I had just called and take a walk-in even though it was the app that created this problem scenario. I would further look to the stylists to provide accurate / timely information into the system that drives the app’s calculations - because obviously they are not doing it correctly, or don’t care to. This has happened 2 out of the last 3 times I’ve visited the Cary location. Meanwhile, I’ve never had this issue with the Crystal Lake location (even with a longer drive time for me to get there). The Cary location has lost my business.
